Hi. It appears to me that you probably had a vasovagal syncope-like episode when you were bending to clean the wound in your leg. It may also have been precipitated by the pain or at the sight of blood. It is common to feel dizzy and clamy at the sight of blood or things that can trigger a vagal response.
Vasovagal syncope occurs due to the stimulation of the vagus nerve which is responsible to relax or dilate the blood vessels and this may have increased the blood flow to your face and some capillaries in the nose would have given way and lead to bleeding.
Bleeding for 30 minutes is not considered to be normal and you must have your self checked with a blood workup that looks at your bleeding and clotting time, prothrombin time, APTT and platelet counts. In my opinion you need an ENT consult for the evaluation of your nasal cavity to look for any bony spurs, vascular lesions or excessive dryness that may have precipitated the bleeding.
