My sister needs a breast biopsy but does not have insurance and no physician will refer her to get one How can she get one? She did have a mammo and ultrasound and although the physician at the hospital said she needs a biopsy, because the result on the mammo and ultrasound sounds that her breast is active they are not referring her because they said they don t want to be liable. She had nipple discharge and was in pain and that took her to the hospital for a checkup. Is there any program she can turn to to get help and get the biopsy done? She lives in Fremont, California.
