What Causes Negative Pregnancy Result And Delayed Periods?
Hi My period is 6 days late, we are trying to convince, but pregnancy test shows negative results. I took Mentronidazole this month for a tooth infection and I check my blood pressure couple of days ago and it was 15 with 9. Could this be the reason why my period is late?thank you

Yes, there have been many cases reporting that metronidazole causes delay in start of periods. Many female patients have reported delay of 4 days to 1 week in their regular periods.
So, I think even you might have the same effect of metronidazole. So no need to worry about it.
