What Causes Neck Pain, Nausea And Vomiting?

Yesterday was a terribly long day at work. Towards the end of the day my neck (top) hurt so bad if I tried to massage it, I would almost vomit. I don t understand why because I didn t hurt myself or do anything that I haven t been doing the last year and a half that I ve worked there. Today my neck is still hurting pretty bad, and when I stand up my head throbs in pain as well. Can you give me some insight as to what may be the cause and is there something I can do without seeing a doctor?

Dear patient you may be victim of vertigo. Neck pain with vomiting and nausea is mostly due to vertigo. Are you female? There is also possibility of migraine. Do you have pain in ear? Since there numerous reasons for nausea and vomiting with neck pain it is better to visit gp and get yourself examined. For the time being you can take tab vertin 8mg thrice a day along with tab domperidone thrice a day and you will feel better. But don't neglect it and consult your doctor.
