What Causes Neck Pain, Headache, Throat Pain And Blurred Vision?

I have neck pain and have had sever headache in lower back of my head for days. The other day my vision was so squiggly I literally could not see. My throat hurts but not like scratchy and no coughing. Today I passed out. My neck hurts to the touch and so does my head. I suffer from migraines for years but this is all new. Could it be just evolving?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of neck pain, headache, throat pain and blurred vision . Well sometimes infection occurs due to reasons like local or generalized alteration in blood pressure , inner ear infection , upper respiratory track infection , sinusitis and cervical spondylosis and migraine .

I would suggest you to drink green tea thrice a day .I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis. Doctor will examine with otoscope , order CT scan for sinusitis , hearing loss tests and MRI.

Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for 10 days along with anti inflammatory medications. Doctor may prescribe hearing aid. Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for neck pain or neurologist for condition like migraine .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
