What Causes Nausea, headache, dizziness And Fatigue After PPD Test?

my son had a PPD test today. His blood pressure and pulse dropped and he felt terrible. Now, hours later he feels even worse with nausea, headache, dizziness, fatigue and loss of appetite. I don t see that as a noted side effect to PPD any where. Should I be worried about this reaction?

Hello,
purified protein derivative (PPD) is a compound used in the tuberculin test to know whether patient has tuberculosis infection or not. It is given subcutaneously.
If symptoms of your child are getting worse you should admit him and keep him under observation for 24 hours. He might have allergic reaction to this .
