Hello,

Your kid seems to be suffering from allergy. Your kid may also have eosinophilia meaning increased number of eosinophils in blood. Treatment options are antihistamines like Benadryl are helpful. If the nose is congested, decongestants like oxymetazoline will work. Calamine lotion to be applied on the hives rash. Mast cell inhibitors like cromolyn sodium are to be used to prevent allergic symptoms.

Leukotriene inhibitors like Montelukast can also be used as a preventive measure from allergies. If the symptoms increase and involve difficulty in breathing and swollen lips and throat, injection hydrocortisone is to be taken. Epipen in severe cases. But identification of the allergen or triggering factor is most important and it can be done by patch testing. So please take your child to a pediatrician for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
