What Causes Nausea With Dizziness Post Tooth Extraction?

Hi, I had a tooth extraction 2 days ago with local anesthsia and laughing gas. Ever since I have felt weak, nauseated and dizzy. I have vomitted a few times, I just cant seem to keep anything down. Is this normal? I have had an extraction before and I never felt like this. Please help!

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain weakness, nausea vomiting and dizziness after 2 days of tooth extraction is not exactly due to extraction of the tooth, rather it is due to side effects of either the local anaesthesia and the nitrous oxide inhalation that is called laughing gas..
It can also be due to side effect of medication that is antibiotics that must be given to you post extraction..
I would suggest you take Proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole empty stomach..
Take prokinetics like Domperidone to relieve vomiting and nausea..
Take a soft diet and drink plenty of water.

In case of no improvement consult your treating dentist and get evaluated and he can advise you a change in medication that is compatible with your body..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
