General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Hyperglycemia if left untreated, leads to raised toxic material (ketones) in urine and blood which in turn leads to Ketoacidosis. This can leads to nausea and vomiting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
