Hello,

I think, firstly, high blood pressure has to be properly managed. And also Type 2 diabetes. You should take proper medications.

If you are on medications already, may be the dosage have to be reconsidered with your body weight.

If required, medications have to be changed. Meanwhile:

1. You can take anti-emetics due to nausea
2. Foods you should try to avoid:

Greasy, oily, and spicy foods, Milk and dairy products, Alcohol, Caffeine (coffee, chocolate), Raw vegetables like corn, cabbage, onions and beets, Salmon and sardines, Pork and veal, Fruits such as oranges, grapefruits, cherries, berries.

3. Try sipping on peppermint tea. Peppermint oil can give you some relief.

4. Also try some ginger water, ginger tea, etc.

What to do next? Try following the above points and please give your details about the medications with dosage info. I would like to see those details after which I can give further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
