What Causes Nausea , Vomiting And Stomach Cramps?

My kid (13yrs) suddenly within 5 minutes he went from feeling fine to nausea and vomiting with stomach cramps. When I picked him up from school he looked white a ghost. I am worried on how sudden this happened. Can it be just the flu or food poisining?

Hi,
Nausea, vomiting or stomach cramps could be due to gastritis or gastroenteritis or food poisoning etc.
If you can tell me any other symptoms like fever, diarrhoea or abdominal pain etc.would be useful to have a clear view.
You must go for routine blood tests and serum electrolytes mainly sodium, potassium and abdominal ultrasound.
You child must be treated with antibiotics and antispasmodics, antiemetics with water and electrolyte balance.
You must take him to the gastro physician considering him as a adult as far as treatment is concern.
Thanks
