What Causes Nausea, Fatigue And Muscle Cramps After Taking Losartan?

I have been taking Losartan 100mg since May 13, 2016. At first I felt really good being on this med and within the last month or so, I ve noticed all these multiple side effect symptoms that have slowly come on. I never noticed they were side effects until I looked them up and I have more than 7 of the symptoms listed. My BP has went down significantly, but I don t feel well at all. My side effects experienced - Nausea, extreme tiredness, muscle cramping, swelling, bladder pain, frequent urination, insomnia, weight gain by at least 5lbs, moodiness, increased depression. Can I just stop taking this BP med?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are having side effects that you cannot tolerate then the medication can be changed or discontinued but in should be done with your doctor.

It is quite possible that your blood pressure may increase if the medication is discontinued so you would need to be monitored and an alternative used if needed.
You would be need to monitored to make sure any new medication is working well.

I hope this helps
