Yes, this may be for a gyno but here s my question: I just had the Mirena IUD inserted almost 3 weeks ago. Almost 5 days ago I started experiencing extreme symptoms of nausea and fatigue. At first I thought it was motion sickness because I was only feeling that way while riding as a passenger in my fiance s car. After that I started to feel that way all day. Some times during the day I will feel so nauseous and dizzy that I have to lie down for about 20 minutes. I have also felt like I have had the shakes and shallow breathing with rapid heartbeat. That happens sometimes throughout the day. My stomach feels so uncomfortable. I always feel like I have to coat it with food or liquid. I ve also been extremely motivated to work out every day until this started happening. Now, I don t feel like I can handle the load of exercise that I am accustomed to. I am guessing that this must have something to do with Mirena. Some facts about me that may be helpful: I am 33, female, I had a baby one year ago, I ve never used birth control, I don t smoke or drink, I take 60mg. prozac daily, and it is almost time for me to get my next period. Please help me figure this out because my quality of life has gone way down in the past several days. I feel terrible!!!
