What Causes Nausea, Dizziness And Palpitations In An Elderly Person?
I am a 50 year old active woman who is mostly very healhty and reasonably fit. About 30 days ago I started having bouts or waves of dizziness, nausea, feeling faint, and a racing heart. I have gotten worked up at the ER and there does not seem to be any life threatening acute issue going on. But I feel so sick! I ve had a complete cardiac workup with an Ecco and and stress test. They found some tachycardia when I stood up, but I was already feeling faint and nauseous. It always starts in the late morning - around 10:30 and lasts for hours. Any ideas?

Hello, In my opinion you appear to have tachycardia(as found out in ER). However it might also be arrhythmia(fast/irregular heart rate),which needs to be further investigated. You might need Holter monitoring. Also it is advisable to check your blood pressure regularly.
