What Causes Nausea And Vomiting While On Gastric Pacemaker?
Hi. I am a 58 year old, female. diagnosed with terminal idiopathic gastroparesis.. had a feeding rube for 6 months. was unable to tolerate it. it came out 8 times in 5 months. It was removed Feb 2015 and I received a experimental gastric pacemaker. It was turned up 3 weeks ago . Im not exactly sure how high. It has been turned up 5 times since its been placed if that helps. but since then, I have increased nausea and vomiting up to 5 time a day and the pain is worse. I need help and I am not getting it. I was 93% paralyzed when this started and now it is 97. My bowels are paralyzed, and I am having difficulty urinating. Is there any help out there for me or am I dying a slow death?
It is mostly due to some gastric upset for which you can take antibiotic like norflox-tz or oflox-oz after an expert opinion along with cap rekool-d or omez-d empty stomach one hour before meal for nausea and vomiting. Take plenty of oral fluids to maintain the hydration of your body.
