What Causes Nausea And Metallic Taste In The Mouth While On Norco?

I had robotic surgery 5 days ago to remove uterus, ovaries and tubes along with a tumor (ovarian cancer). I am still taking 2 Norco tablets in 24 hours for pain relief. I am experiencing a constant feeling of nausea, a metallic taste in my mouth, and no appetite. Can that still be from the general anesthesia? How long will it last?

Hello,

Norco tablet may cause nausea or vomiting but less likely cause metallic taste. It may be due to gum bleeding or infection or acid reflux or list nasal drip or nasal polyps etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
