What Causes Nausea And Irregular Periods?

Hi Dr. Manjunath

Now a days a I feel pukish through out the day. I have observed this from last 5 - 8 days. Also last month my periods were not as regular once. it was like spotting only.
Also, along with pukishness i feel headache as well.

Please Suggest / Guide.

Hi I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first if you are sexually active. If negative, it can be due to some hormonal imbalances. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. Hope it helps.
