What Causes Nausea And Heavy Menstruation When Diagnosed With A Ovarian Cyst?

I have ovarian cysts on my right ovary only. I have extreme pain, nausea, heavy mentrual cycles, irregular cycles, and weight loss associated with them. However, 6 months ago my doctor proscribed Mononessa and I took them for 6 months. A week after stoping the birth control, the pain has started back up and is getting worse each day. I have had so much blood work, ultrasounds, CAT scans and MRI s done to find out the problem and can t seem to get anywhere. Not even with a specialist.

Hi,

The pain &nausea you have is due to stretching of the ovarian wall due to cyst. Irregular &provide bleeding is due to a hormonal imbalance resulting from an ovarian cyst.

Uncontrollable symptoms with cyclical hormones(OC) or size more than 10cm needs surgical treatment. Please consult a gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
