What Causes Nausea And Heaviness In Arm Post Hip Replacement?

I am 2 1/2 weeks out of anterior hip replacement. Though I had a very low BP and needed transfuions, my blood count was up o 9.5 by the tme I left the hospital. But when I get tired I get nauseous and have heavy feeling in my arms. What could be the cause?

Hi there, what you are experiencing are the side effects of the medications prescribed for post hip replacement. Feeling heavy in arms and elsewhere will get better once your hemoglobin levels rise. But that should not stop you from the physiotherapy you were advised and good diet, moderate actvity is important .
