Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I stopped taking Zoloft about a year ago and since then I ve had nausea and fatigue. I ve been really tired and sick at various times of the day, but almost everyday. I have no reason anymore to take Zoloft. I went off of it very gradually, but suspect my symptoms are related to my feeling sick. Is this possible? There really isn t anything else I ve done that s different, except getting off Zoloft. Any ideas?
Nausea is a common side effect and will get better with time. It may take a couple weeks though. Try to take the Zoloft with a little food and that may help the nausea. With continued use the nausea will subside.
