What Causes Nausea And Diarrhoea While Having Food Poisoning?
I have had nausea, diarrhea, very noisy bowel sounds for over five days. At first I thought it might be food poisoning (McDonald s breakfast sausage) but the symptoms have continued. This morning a 2:00 am I had a very severe situation w/cold sweats, nausea (no vomiting) and over 20 times of diarrhea. I have been taking Emetrol and Lomotil sporatically... but it continues. Maybe I have a stomach bug? any suggestions? Thanks...

This sounds like a bacterial enteritis as with E coli, salmonella, or C diff.
It also sounds like you're getting dehydrated.
I would get a stool sample sent to the lab for microscopic examination and cultures and sensitivities since you need to be on a course of antibiotics for this
