Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history related to your husband having nausea for about a year, lost 15 lbs in two weeks, had gall bladder surgery on Jan 14, 2016. Still getting sick, also has small kidney stones and enlarged prostate.
Nausea is a symptoms that can occur due to many reasons and it is difficult to pin point the cause in every case.
Since removal of the gall bladder did not help the cause can be local in the abdomen or can be central like some problem with brain or its coverings called meninges. Hence one MRI is needed.
Secondly, there needs to be a local cause for which local evaluation by clinical examination can help. He must have already been gone through few ultrasonography examinations.
I would further advise enteroclysis, Kidney function tests and so on.
There can even be a Psychological cause that has to be remembered.
Good clinical evaluation helps to have further studies to rule out or confirm the problems.
