What Causes Nausea And Abdominal Cramps After Being Treated For Anal Cancer?
I ve been having progressive proctitis problems after having radiation treatment for anal cancer. Right now I have nausea, abdominal cramping and frequent loose bowel movements, often with blood and mucus. There is also a lack of appetite and anything I do eat causes pain and seems to go right through me. I ve tried Loperimide and Metamucil and Lomotil, with only minimum relief. Any ideas?

I really appreciate your concern, here the underlying cause of loose motion is matter of concern as it is the history of radiation, Lomotil and loperamide is not at all advisable as it may cause paralytic ileus, in my opinion stool needs to be sent for routine test hope this information helps
