I had a double cervical fusion c3/4 ans c6/7. That is healing well at 4 week period. However while in the hospital for a one night stay my kidneys starting producing massive amounts of urine. Female/42/6 11 appox; 180 lbs. after five days of lots of blood drawn it was suspected that it mIfht have been diabetes insipidus. I was sent home with Foley for 3 1/2 weeks and am now self catherrizing and having no sensation as I leak feces as well. This had started before neck surgery but has definitely quickly declined. Still have lower disk issues, but am worried with other symptoms... Sudden narcoleptic episodes, seeing black blobs in perrifreal vision. I sleep with CPAP ( not enough). So now am waiting for MRI with contrast of abdomin and brain. The radiology department freaked out when I made appointment. She said the magnets could latterly be pulled of my neck or cause permanent damage..... Isn t fusion done in Platinum??? I ve ben told it could be Cuaga Equina Syndrome, MS or something wrong with hypothalamus!
