What Causes Nails To Spread Downwards?
the white part of my nails is spreading downward. It started w/one nail the same is happening w/3 others - so 4 nails in total. What is causing this and what should I do. It has happened before and it just went away. But now im concerned because it is happening again.

If this is toe nail then footwear could be the cause, beside this, infection, improper nail cutting, trauma, initially this can be managed with soaking the nail in salt water, antibiotic cream, anti-inflammatory drug, else the sever condition may need surgery, it is all depends upon the severity, hope this information helps.
