Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This is Rajeev with you from kuwait . I am 35 years . I just done my ECG yesterday . I am not having any pain .the reason for doing this one is because i felt muscle pulling pain in chest not now. am a regular person in gym doing bodybuilding for years . So i just checked it in a clinic here. But the doctor told me that there is a slight variance in my ECG.So please consult with a cardiologist to review. Could you please help me on this.
Its good that you consulted a doctor regarding chest pain and did an ECG for the same.
The reason for chest pain is not always related to the cardiac issue, other possibilites are a muscle pull as you said you go to the gym regularly. If the doctor has said he felt there is variance in the ECG.
I would suggest you see a cardiologist regarding the same. Because a cardiologist can guide you appropriately on any cardiac issue if present.
If required he might ask you to get some other diagnostic tests just to have a clear understanding.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
