I am getting muscle cramps in my legs, arms & hands - these occur several times a day - could these be caused by blood pressure medication ? I do take lasix but also take a potassium supplement 20 MEQ twice daily, ,5mg Lorazepam @ bedtime. My blood pressure medication is Norvasc 5 mg.

Hello,

These cramps could be due to deranged potassium levels in your blood. I need to know why are you taking potassium along with these medicines. I suggest you to check your potassium levels and consult your doctor in this regard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
