What Causes Muffled Hearing With Itching And Ringing In Ears?

I been having problems with my hearing. is not that I cant hear but I just don t hear the words correctly or I just hear you talking but I didn t hear what you said or I heard partial of it. sometimes it takes me a while later to realize what you said or are saying. could this be coming from fatigue or exhaustion, sleep deprivation, confusion a lack of concentration or could it be something more serious such as nerve problems. I also suffers from migraine for 12 years but it has gotten bad since the last 3 years and I think my migraine is caused mainly from lack of sleep and follow by a little bit off stress and anxiety. I also have ringing or pulsate in my ears but the left one mainly, I was diagnose by my doctor a couple months back with titanus which was ringing in one of my ear from using q tip but was giving ear drops for both of my ears to correct it. but I use q tips quite a number of times fter my doctor advises me not to because my eaRS WAS ITCHING TERRIBLY .this made my ringing in my ear and headaches worst when I did that sometimes what do you advise me to do or could it be worse than that should I get a mri like I planned on getting and came close to getting but never did and should I keep up with my neurologist consistently and take all medications prescribe by her what should I do and what do you think could be the issue. one of my doctor at the time said it might not be serious because something would of been happened to me because when he asked how bad are my headaches I said is a 2 and sometimes a 1 and at times a 3 but he did advise me to get an mri and keep up with my neurologist like I ave been thinking I just I make that effort and be consistent. what do you thin, Doctor?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to restart the visits with your doctor and also to use the medication prescribed.
The suggested imaging should also be done.

The tinnitus and hearing loss may be actually linked.
Age related hearing loss is one of the most common causes of tinnitus.

The itching that was going on, may have been related to allergies or an infection of the ear, it is a symptom that should be reviewed to see if treatment is needed.

I hope this helps
