Hi Doctor Good evening. My 2month baby is passing loose stool from some days .So our Doctor suggested to do stooi examination. We have done two times resuliting ist time with Mucus and second time pus cells .but there was no infection. But today she passsed around 15 since morning and it is greenish completely. What should we do
* Mucus in the stool of baby may be possible from inadequate flora support of the intestine even in absence of infection, lactose intolerance is the second possibility for the same.
* Addition of probiotics and evaluation of lactose tolerance are the primary steps to follow first.

She may be developed an infection. You have rehydrated her with breast milk and fluids.
Use enterogermina tubes for reduction of passing stools. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
