What Causes Mucous With Blood Discharge In Rectum?
My 4 year old son had a weird glatenous clear mucous with some blood come from his rectum. Pretty much looked with clear snot with red flecks. He had a normal bowel movement early today and had been swimming in the ocean. No fever, diarrhea or complaints of stomach pain. Do I have something to worry about right now??

U must consult a paeds surgeon. If its bright red then intussaseption is suspected. Proper examination is needed nd further managmnt plan will b decided by ur doctr. But u must consult paeds surgeon if the problem is still aggravating
