General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The movement sensation you have in your head, can be a real feeling and really bothersome to you but it is not caused by a parasite infection. There is no parasite that can move under the skin or in the flesh and cause these sensations but with no visible skin changes.

On the other hand, as I already explained, these can be very real and worrisome to you. These sensations are called formication and need a careful examination, including a neurological exam, from your doctor to evaluate the sensation and other neurological functions.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
