What Causes Mottling Of Skin In A Child While Taking A Feed?
My 5 month old son sweats profusely and his skin becomes mottled when I am nursing him. I do not see any signs of cyanosis or breathing difficulties when he feeds. I am awaiting his appointment to see a family physician. What could this be from? It started about 4 weeks ago and he is healthy, above average weight.
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I am very happy that you have mentioned all the clinical details I would have asked for if the query was incomplete. even if weight is average the possibility that It could be a sign of heart disease still remains. I would be able to help to better if you revert back to me with your son's birth weight and exact current weight. Cyanosis and breathing difficulty are not the only signs of heart disease. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health. Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
