What Causes Moderate Pain And Stiffness In The Left Knee?

I occasionally get moderate pain inside my left knee that makes it feel stiff but is not tender to the touch. There is no swelling or change in temperature of my knee and pain seems to be focused on the back side. Often times when the pain subsides after a few days my knee feels great like nothing ever happened. His occurred recently for the first time in 5 months.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

As you explain the history I don't think this might be a serious problem. If it repeats again than an ultrasound of the knee is needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla, Pulmonologist
