I am thirteen days late on my period or more and I took at least 5 pregnancy test but they are all negative but I am also on psych meds could that be the reason why my test come out negative idk what s going on I have had a couple of discharges they were like light brown and one clear and thick could I be taking the test too early or do I need a blood test idk what to do
Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone. This is a hormone that is released in pregnancy. As pregnancy progresses the levels of HCG increase.
Normally HCG can be detected in the urine by day 11 to 14 after conception, it can be detected slightly quicker in the blood. If the tests were done after 14 days then they are accurate and you are not currently pregnant.
If the tests were done before this time, then you should repeat it after a few days to get an accurate result.
If you do not wish to wait a few days then you can have a blood HCG done instead.
I hope this helps
