What Causes Milky Discharge From Breasts With Recurring Headache And Blurred Vision?

Hi, I have been having milky discharge in both breasts for more than two months now. Also having recurrent headaches, visual p roblem and reduced menstrual flow. taken parlodel for a month now and I have not noticed any difference. Did a test to check my prolactin level and it was within normal range. What could be the problem?

Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read your question carefully and understand your concern.

Even though your prolactin levels have resulted within the normal limits, I would recommend repeating the test.

All your symptoms are very suggestive of a pituitary gland lesion.

A brain MRI is needed to exclude a tumor of the pituitary gland.

From the other hand, I would recommend consulting with the ophtalmologist and test your visual field.

Besides, I would recommend performing some other hormonal blood lab tests:

- fT3, fT4, TSH
- GnHR
- IGF1
- LH
-ACTH and cortisol plasma levels
-dihydroandrostenedion plasma levels, etc.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes!
