What Causes Mild Thickening Of The Bladder Walls?

I am 57 year old male. Had a CT scan which states the bladder wall shows mild thickening . I am Type II and also have extensive diverticulosis according to report. Colonoscopy 2 years ago was completely clean. Prostrate is normal but I have been diagnosed with Prostatitis and just got over a pretty bad 5 day attack the day before the CT Scan. reason for scan was self-scheduled virtual physical and I am citing the report from the review MD...thanks for any insight.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have mild thickening of bladder wall. It can be due to interstitial cystitis. It causes and inflammation and scarring which leads to thickening of bladder wall. You should go for cystoscopy and if needed go for biopsy. This will give you exact idea. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
