What Causes Mild Sharp Needle Pains In The Center Of Chest To Back?
I'm having mild sharp needle pains in the center of my chest to my back. I get then every other day, sometimes. And they last no more than 5 seconds. I'm going to see my doctor in a few days. I would to know if I should more concern about it and seek medical attention now?
In my opinion you should first undergo chest x ray and rule out infection first. If this is normal than it must be GERD ( gastroesophageal reflux disease). In GERD gastroesophageal sphincter is malfunctioning so acid in the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause symptoms. Follow these simple steps for GERD. 1. Avoid spicy and oily food. 2. Avoid heavy meals, Take frequent small meals. 3. Avoid stress and anxiety and keep calm. . 4. Take good antacids like pantoprazole and rabeprazole with prokinetic agents like levosulperide. 5. Go for walk after meals. . 6. Keep 2 - 3 pillows below your head in the bed.
