What Causes Mild Pain In Hydrocele On Right Scrotum?

I am a 75 year old male who has a significant hydrocele (or spermatocele) on the right side of scrotum. It has been here for several years and has caused no problem. In the last few days, there has been pain in that location. Not sharp pain, but more of an ache. Should I see a urologist?

yes definitely you should see a urologist.A hydrocele is swelling of scrotum and is usually painless but if it poses any discomfort or pain you must check with your doctor because some types of hydroceles (communicating type) ocan lead to hernias or some torsion . before the pain increases please visit your doc
