Hello,

Thank you for the query and welcome to Healthcaremagic!

I have read your question and understand your concern. In order to help you i will need some more information about your health like how old are you? have you done any Chest Xray post this fall from stairs? Does it pain on pressing the chest area? Does the pain increase on breathing deep?

The most common cause of chest pain and slowing of breathing in a young health person would be rib fracture. Get your Chest Xray done to rule this out. Rib Fracture is treated with painkiller and chest strapping of the area of frature. Consult a local physician for this.

Hope this helped. Contact back in case of future queries. Takecare!
