What Causes Mild Fullness At The Right Renal Pelvis?

I had a sonogram of the kidneys 2 weeks ago and was told that my right kidney measures 11.7 cm in length and the left one measures 11.3 cm in length. There is a mild fullness of the right renal pelvis with no hydronephrosis, stone or mass seen. I am scheduled for yet another sonogram of the kidneys this week as but I just wondered what she may be looking for and what is a mild fullness of the right renal pelvis?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history about the ultrasonography report showing fullness of the right renal pelvis without any stone or mass.
Hence is the need to have review of the results. This is so as mild fullness indicates intermittent obstruction and there can a small spastic segment that can cause such a finding wherein no mass or stone can be seen as they are not present.
Ideal investigation would be Intravenous pyelography.
This can show/illuminate the actual cause.
Thence the further treatment can be planned.
