General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, it is not intake of Ibuprofen giving fever, but the underlying inflammation of body process with neck stiffness is responsible for fever.

Treating basic condition with precise care will control the fever precisely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
