What Causes Mild Dizziness After Taking Lisinopril Instead Of Ibuprofen?

My wife accidentally took 40mg of lisinopril thinking it was ibuprofen. She is 39. Healthy and about 150 lbs. It was 630am and is now 710pm. She just realized what she did. She had a migraine and wasn t paying attention. Should she go to the ER? She has noted that today she felt a little dizzy at times. We checked her blood pressure and it was 125/75 with a pulse of 64.

hi
thanks for posting in HCM
I have understood your concern

most probable reason for her complaints is
1.lisinopril induced hypotension, she may have postural hypotension on standing ,compared to normal in sitting and lying down position.
2.due to migraine

I can suggest you to check her BP on standing for 3mins , if it is low give her high salt diet for 1 day along with strict rest.

for migraine tab.Naxdom 500 mg for 5days and then whenever needed.

hope this helps you
any further questions please let me know
thanks
