What Causes Mild Cramps On Right Side During Early Pregnancy?

Hi. 7.5 weeks along with pregnancy. Not ectopic but measuring a week behind according to ultrasound. Heart rate was 110. I m experiencing mild jabbing type cramps on the right side. I only have 1 ovary (on the right). Could this be a cycst or round ligament pain? Or other ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Mild pain is normal during early stages of pregnancy due to womb enlargement. If you are not having bloody discharge then you don't have to worry about abortion. If the spotting or discharge starts you have to seek medical attention soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
