What Causes Migraines Along With Body Ache And Chills?

Over the weekend I had one of the worst migraines that i have ever had. Then I started getting body aches, followed by the chills and it felt like a slight fever. I went to the ER and they said it was just a migraine. So, 3 days of horrible headache and body aches. Sometimes, it will ease up and then hit me all of a sudden.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Chills and fever are not likely to be due to a migraine alone. A headache can be due to a migraine.

I suggest you take Paracetamol for fever, it's for symptomatic relief. In addition, I suggest you get complete blood counts, test for malaria, dengue and typhoid after consulting your primary health care provider.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
