Hello,so yesterday while I was eating some cereal I had a sudden kind of buring in my nose,it felt like I was about to get a nose bleed or something & simultaneously I was had a very strong metallic taste in my mouth. it lasted about 5 minutes & it also gave my a mild headache. I still have that buring smell in my nose & a slight headache today. I am not taking any anti-botics at the moment, but I am taking pro-botics. im wondering what could be wrong?

Hello,

Metallic taste in the mouth is a relatively common side effect of medications.

Metallic taste in the mouth can also arise due to a disorder of the nerves that control taste sensations. In your case don't worry. if it is persistent take an appointment with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
