What Causes Metallic Taste In The Mouth When I Cough?
When I cough or laugh I get a metallic taste in my mouth and I get lightheaded, dizzy and get a headache. My chest has also been hurting every once in a while and sometimes it gets tight and hard to breathe. I m not sure what s wrong or if anything is.
A metallic taste may be felt in blood in sputum or drugs like metronidazole or iron tablets or few ant cancer drugs. Acid peptic disease with reflux may cause erosion to lead to metallic taste. Please avoid iron tablets, check for drugs. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
