What Causes Metallic Taste In My Mouth?

i randomly get dizzy spells immediately accompanied by a metallic taste in my mouth. What is wrong? I recently had radiation to remove a tumor in the frontal lobe of my brain, and have had two tumors removed behind both my eyes. What could be causing these symptoms?

Hello:)Welcome to HCM.

Radiation commonly changes taste sensations.
The salivary glands and mucous membrane in your mouth are extremely sensitive to radiation.
Certain medications you are taking can also be responsible for this metallic taste.
This can take anywhere between 4-6 months to recover.
You must sip water time to time in small amounts, so that your mouth is not completely dry.
Keep hydrated.
use a mild mouthwash.
You can use a soothing ointment if your oral mucosa hurts.
Do not eat spices. You can make your food colorful to make it appealing.

Regards.
