Hi, I am Dr.Shreyash Mehta, MD Community Medicine

I understood your query, I hope my answer will solve your query

As you told that you are having a metallic taste in your mouth followed by burping.

It seems that you are taking some iron tablets and vitamin b complex pills for treatment of anaemia.

Metallic taste in mouth can occur as a side effect of taking medicines used for treatment of anaemia.

It can also occur due to some allergies, sinusitis.

If your anaemia/ weakness is corrected you can stop the medication after consultation with your physician.

You can take green leafy vegetables like spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, seasonal fresh fruits and jaggery . as an alternative source of vitamin B complex and other essential vitamins and macronutrients like Iron.

Avoid spicy and fried diet and decrease the consumption of tea/ coffee, this will help you avoid burping.
I find this answer helpful
