General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Menstrual irregularities are normal during post partum period and during breastfeeding because of hormone imbalance.

Breastfeeding a baby doesn't mean that you will not get pregnant so you should look for a contraception method soon. Do a pregnancy home test as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
