What Causes Memory Loss After A Jaw Injury?

I was beat up. I was hit a lot in my head during this beating and then about 3 months later a person slugged me in my jaw. Since then I have had some memory loss. I did go to Dr after each incident and was told I was ok no damage. But the memory loss really does bother me. I am only 19 what should I have check out?
